With every product we offer, we can offer installation. However, we are most known for our high-quality coldroom installations. Scandia employ qualified, and well-trained installers; guaranteeing our customers that our coldrooms are built to the highest standard of quality workmanship.
Our prefabricated manufacturing methods ensure that the time spent on site is kept to a minimum, ensuring any disruption to the establishment if at all, is minor. Scandia’s design means we manufacture to the millimetre, unlike most other coldroom companies we do not require any alterations or hot-works to be carried out on site. Scandia keeping mess to a minimum at all times means our customers can rely on us to maintain their high reputations.
As part of our selection of services, Scandia also provide the services of decommissioning, dismantling, disposals and relocations of existing coldrooms. Our clients can depend on us to ensure their rooms and facilities are transported safely and reconstructed in the original format.
It is common our customers ask us for a full replacement service, although this service can be provided on its own. Whilst one coldroom is being taken down and carted away, and the new is being built, we can provide on-site temporary cold storage to conveniently store the contents of the coldroom whilst the new is being constructed and commissioned.
Scandia own a selection of industrial plant equipment. Our fully trained installers use and maintain a full range of plant equipment to assist us in our industrial builds, including genie lifts, forklift trucks, scaffold towers and scissor lifts. If our own selection is not enough for the job, we have various contacts throughout the UK with instant access to equipment hire.
We have ten Scandia installation teams, all teams have a huge knowledge of building with insulation materials and use craft, expertise and hard work to create the optimum end result for our customers. Our installation teams are equipped with CSCS cards, MEWP licenses, SSSTS cards, IPAF qualifications and all receive regular training.
